textual synthesis or an argued opinion on a current-affairs subject (economic, sociological,
etc.)

Language test - Coefficient 6 (3 per language)
One
of these two languages must be English. The other one is to be chosen from Spanish,
German or Italian.

Interview - Coefficient 4
To
gain better understanding of the candidates personality, the Panel uses a video
recording made by the candidate on a current affairs subject (see screen test).
This
interview must allow the Panel to assess the candidates level of general knowledge,
open-mindedness and energy and his/her ability to fit into the ebs international
programme.
2.
Screen test - Coefficient 2
In
front of a camera, the candidate must analyse and take a position on a current affairs
subject drawn at random and completed in 45 minutes explaining the
reasons for his/her choice.
3.
Language orals - Coefficient 4 (2 per language)
The
candidate must prove his/her ability to converse fluently in the two chosen languages
on subjects relating to current political, economic and social affairs or his/her
interests.
